It's from the song "Congratulations" by MGMT. The line really rang out in my head when I was listening to the song that night and made me think of how I have had people in my life I relied on pretty extensively and when I lost them it was likeI lost part of myself. I thought of "dissolve" at losing myself in a sense, and "than have you ignore me" more like the loss of someone in my life important to me.

Well, I'm really sorry. And that is a beautiful use of lyrics btw. I've been there. It's hard, but eventually you do get over it.
